Late '80s NYC Power-pop band The band’s new wave rock was similar to Elvis Costello and Huey Lewis.

The Hungry Dutchmen were a NYC based band most notable for having won MTV’s Basement Tapes Award in February 1987, with the video of their original song “Alone On A Saturday Night”.
