It's Green Mountain Monday! This week's featured member of GMDD is Bust E. Breaker , of the Grade A Fancy!
Derby Name: Bust E. Breaker
When did you start playing roller derby? 2008
Derby Hero: Star Slayer, I remember the first time I saw her play. She was amazing and got the crowd so pumped. I still want to be just like her when I grow up.
Favorite moment of your derby career: The time I went in for a hit and my sister, Quil, also came sweeping in from the other direction. We smashed the jammer between us and she fell pretty hard. We have since dubbed the move the Speranwich!
Why do you skate? It keeps me sane. Everyone should play a full contact sport.
Position you like best: Blocker
Favorite color: Purple
Favorite holiday: Halloween
What do you love most about being part of GMDD? All of the friends I've made and cool places we have traveled. I can't image my life without GMDD!
How did you get your derby name: I have a tendency to break things, on and off the track, and I'm kind of b***y.
