Hi everyone! It’s been a while since we did introductions around here, and there are many new faces!

Today we want to introduce you to our 2024 Long Season Farm Intern, Wylie Greeson!
Wylie has both a BA in Environmental Geoscience and a BA in English and is looking forward to putting both to good use here at Procter!

This summer you can meet Wylie at the Grove City Farmers Market or on the farm during Summer Camp!

Shoutout to the youth at St. Patrick's in Dublin. They are getting out in the community learning, serving, and building community together!

This summer, don’t just have a job, work at a place booming with loving energy. People who work at Procter Center make lasting friends and memories. Our Camp Counselors are our wonderful hosts of the season for youth and families. They play games, get creative, explore their faith, and live out the loving word of Christ together. Our Farm Hands are our earthly caretakers of the season, learning themselves, while helping others also experience and explore the outdoors in ways that provide justice and care for nature and each other. The Camp

Positions open: camp counselor, camp leadership, lifeguard, camp nurse

Summer Camp hosts all ages during various sessions throughout the season. Campers and Counselors get to enjoy swimming, fishing, campfires, being in nature, sports, arts & crafts, music, and more! Working in a camp environment cultivates critical thinking, collaboration, interpersonal and leadership skills. It is a place to model professionalism and compassion, while contributing to the growth and development of each participant.

The Farm

Position open: Farmhand Internship

Procter Center Farm is not only a production farm for our markets and CSA boxes, but also a place where countless hours of learning are spent by campers, volunteers, interns, and guests. We hope our efforts inspire future generations to grow their own foods, encourage healthy eating habits, and care for the land around them.

Join us!

Join us at Procter Center for an afternoon of all-things-Advent, for all ages!

Activities will include:
• Foraging and hiking around Lake Leo in search of branches, berries, pinecones, and more to build and decorate our Advent Wreaths
• S'Mores & Hot Chocolate Bar
• Candle Making
• Blessing of the Advent Wreathes
• Games

Who: Individuals, Church Groups, Community Groups, Families, Couples - any and everyone is welcome!
When: Saturday, Dec. 2, 1pm to 5pm
Where: Procter Center Pavilion
What: Bring a warm coat, gloves, some shoes for easy hiking, and a friend!

We'll provide the tools needed for cutting shrubbery and the bases for building the wreaths. Enjoy hot cocoa by the fire, roast some s'mores, and build a beautiful wreath to enjoy all of Advent.
