SFE General meeting is TOMORROW @7!!

We are going to be having relay races and compete in some fun games! it’s going to be on the lawn outside the EER right off of San Jac!!

Plus there will be torchy’s!! We hope to see you there :)

This Thursday we’re doing things a bit different and we’re going to be having a Spike ball tournament during our regular meeting time!!

Come out to clark field Thursday @7 to compete in a spikeball tournament against other first years!!

If you have your own spike ball set feel free to bring it, if not that’s okay too!! Hope to see you all there!

The first ever SFE alumni and current member event is this Tuesday (9/28) at 7:00 pm! Meet amazing previous members if you are a first-year, and reconnect with your class if you are an alumni! Join us for a general meeting this Tuesday 8 pm at the EER (meeting on 0th floor by the entrance of Inventionworks). We’ll learn how to get involved with Inventionworks from 3D printing, laser etching, and everything in between. We’ll also get started planning an event that you get to lead. Come grab some food and catch up with us!

Meet Arshaan, a 4th year Chemical Engineering student! This summer, Arshaan interned at P&G. In his free time he likes to hike, travel, invest, and run!! He can do it all and is looking forward to meeting all of the first-years and helping shape their college experience!

Join us this Tuesday (9/7) at 7PM to learn everything about getting ready for Fall EXPO, an engineering career fair. Meet one of the directors, Audrey, a third-year BME major. This summer, Audrey did research and explored Austin with her friends! Outside of SFE, Audrey is a member of BOLT, Texas Younglife, and Texas Darlins. In her free time she likes to take walks, listen to podcasts, and spend time with friends. She can’t wait to get to know UT ‘25!

Meet another mentor, Kyser, a senior ECE and Plan II Honors student. Kyser interned in Austin over the summer and spent time with friends and family. In his free time, he likes to learn day trading strategies, workout, play basketball, and hang out with friends! He is also in Texas Blazers, and you can catch him around campus as a Texas Tour Guide. He is most looking forward to setting first-year students up for success at UT!
