We want to make your waxing experience as comfortable as ever so we have collated a few pre and post waxing tips.

Before you wax, you should:

• Exfoliate your waxing area 24-48
hours before

• Ensure your hair is at least half a cm long

• Bath or shower before you wax to open up your follicles

And now you’ve waxed, here are some tips for aftercare:

• Avoid touching, exfoliating or using any products on the waxed area

• If sensitive or sore, apply Aloe Vera gel or tea tree oil

• Keep the waxed area cool and dry for the first few hours

1. Increase your intake of natural biotin (a type of B vitamin) by eating things like cooked eggs, sardines, whole grains, nuts and bananas

2. Avoid glue-on nails and toxic nail varnishes

3. Practice good grooming, keeping nails trimmed and free from dirt

4. Moisturise your hands and nails frequently, especially the cuticles

5. Hydrate: increase your water intake to ensure your skin and nails stay hydrated. Dehydration can lead to weak nails so keep the water flowing
