Jacquard refers to a coverlet made on a loom fitted with a mechanical attachment invented in France by Joseph Jacquard in 1801. It created patterns with holes on a series of cards resembling player piano rolls or computing punch cards.
This sleeveless pullover made from red and off-white antique jacquard with eagle and floral motif is now sold, but the style can be commissioned in any of the available coverlet textiles, in any size. 🦅 Coverlette.com

The ‘Eagle’ Trench coat is crafted from a vintage Burberry trench and a panel of red and cream antique woven textile, with worn hem.
Thomas Burberry invented gabardine fabric in 1879 and submitted a design for an Army officer's raincoat to the United Kingdom War Office in 1901. The company is credited with inventing the trench coat.
Cut from 100% cotton vintage Levi’s, the texture of denim only gets better with age. The durability of the cotton comes from the twill weave, and Coverlette jeans are patched with antique jacquard off-cuts where needed.
