Thank you every one who came to our free night at Little Bare. Happy you enjoyed our own beers. All donations we receive from our free nights go to St Johns Hospice. Over a year we raise quite a lot of money for them and they are always very grateful.

We have had a situation at the bare this afternoon. An unwanted guest tried to enter by kicking the front door in and. Shouting obscenities at our guests. The police have been and have moved him on.

Jodie is obviously a bit shaken and will lock up if any situation arises today. If you find us closed this will be why

Congratulations to our very own Morecambe Brass Band Musical Director Andrew W Porter who will be taking over the prestigious job as the Director of Music of the Band of the Grenadier Guards. Well done Andrew, we’re all very proud of you.

Hello, we are Peter and Iain the new owners of the Little Bare. We don't plan any big changes, and hope to keep everyone as happy as possible. We will stick to Nick's published opening hours which are- Monday closed
Tuesday 3pm till 9pm
Wednesday 3pm till 9pm
Thursday 3pm till 9pm
Friday 3pm till 10pm
Saturday 1pm till 9pm
Sunday 1pm till 6pm
Zoe Kyles will be working Tuesdays and Jodie Johnston will work Wednesday till Sunday (with our help or hindering) Please be kind to them.
Some of you may be wondering but Jennie decided not to take the job.

Hi all, we're having trouble handing over the socials.

This is just a quick post to say the pub is open, and it's very much business as usual. The beers flowing and the pubs operating normal hours!!

Well today was the last day of the original Little Bare. What an experience !

Thank so much to everyone who came in to say goodbye and for all the cards and kind words. Lovely food, cakes and treats. Much appreciated.

It seems like yesterday since we were all painting furiously to create this space. I remember every nail hole to be filled and sanded. every hook and little corner to be beautified.
People watched as we ripped out the old and breathed new life into the space .... would they like it and would they come ?

THANK YOU for believing in us.

Pete made a lovely speech today and we were a bit emotional so didn't say much... Yes pretty unbelievable!
Now I am home and the men are resting!!!!! I want to put that right. Excuse my rambling.. I am sure Nick and Val will post more concisely tomorrow.

It was time to pass on our wonderful little pub for its next chapter but not before we acknowledge our wonderful customers and friends.
We had an absolute ball with you all.

Strangers came together 7 years ago and now we have a proper community. We have seen fantastic connections blossom. We have witnessed kindness and support for each other. A safe, welcoming space that we are told has made a difference. We have loved being part of peoples lives, sharing the ups and downs together. Those who have left us are not forgotten.
Enjoy the Little Bare going forward with the great new team and we will see you for a catch up and a drink there soon x Joolz
