The Saab 99 Turbo was produced from 1978-1982, with 100 test cars being produced in 1977. The Saab 99 Turbo was only imported into the U.S. These super-rare cars included some iconic features that added to their highly unique personality:
- Inca rims
- alligator clip seatbelts (no clip on the belt itself)
- of course, that unmistakeable turbo whining as it spun up before launch
Our Story
Saab99Turbo.com (http://Saab99Turbo.com), which includes the Saab 99 Turbo Registry, has been online since April 2007. The website is sponsored by Sonoma County based marketing agency, Abra Marketing (http://abramarketing.com) with all all web development and marketing donated since that time.
We are proud to support the legacy of the iconic SAAB automobiles and specifically the legendary and unparalleled Saab 99 Turbo.
