Replacing this switch can be insanely frustrating. It looks so easy but the very tight space limits room for your fingers and the location (behind the brake pedal) makes for contortionist-like body positions.
Using a zip tie to hold this locking tab open makes the job a LOT simpler.

It's pretty common for many of us with Sprinters to drill through the metal walls to secure things like interior walls, cabinetry, hooks or any number of things. The tips of those screws are SHARP and can damage wiring inside the walls, causing all sorts of electrical havoc. Here's one way to keep that from happening.

These are the two main ground straps/cables on the T1N Sprinters. The first one is from the battery to the frame and the second one is from the motor to the frame. Starting issues? Charging issues? Definitely start here because if these are corroded and not getting good connections, nothing else you do will help very much.
These are just some of the grounds located in various spots throughout the van. To find those, you'll have to do some research!
