We appreciate the long partnership we have with Dunlap American Legion Post 224! It is an honor to collaborate on many of their public events, and we appreciate their commitment to our students in return!

The school board JUST approved our spring travel plans to CHICAGO! 🎉

We’re going to move fast now! We’ll hold an initial informational meeting on Tuesday at 7:00 during Open House in the new music hall. If you can’t make it, that’s fine! There will be a live link AND the video will be recorded. You can also reach out to Mr. Schauer or Mrs. Stowers with questions.

Our goal is to have sign up done by the end of August! An email will be sent out Tuesday morning with sample itineraries, projected costs, and some basic info.

6 high school vocal students spent the day attending an All-State Choir prep clinic at Iowa Western Community College. We’ve spent the day rehearsing all of the pieces required for the audition in October. Wish them luck as they keep studying the music.

If your student is going to be in 6th Grade, 7-8th Grade, or High School Choir, please take a look at the items they need for the upcoming school year.

We started our composition unit in 6th grade band today! This was our first group endeavor that we hope to play *LIVE* next week! 🎶

We had a great day at the RVC Band Festival at CR-B today! We had 16 HS students and 11 MS students attend - a great showing for BV! Congrats to all on a successful day and two succesful final performances!

Way back in September several students auditioned for the MidWest American Choral Directors Association Conference Honor Choirs taking place in Omaha this weekend. Four of our students were selected for this awesome opportunity. More pictures to come of our amazing students. Go dogs!
