The name FIG stands for “Food Is Good,” a perfect name for this fine dining restaurant on Charleston’s Meeting Street. Our two red leather booths add to the ambiance while creating a cozy space to enjoy the evening.

I photographed this early Victorian sporting art silhouette, signed and dated 1837, on the wall in a Scottish castle. “Victorian era” (1837-1901) silhouettes were the main way common people could have a portrait made during the “Victorian era”.

Here’s to looking back on a moment to remember in the Scottish Highlands. Visiting there in the spring was the perfect time of the year to absorb the natural beauty of this magical place. I plan to visit again soon.
