Beagles and Friends Forever Rescue & Sanctuary
Rescue and sanctuary for senior beagles and their friends. Our goal is to give these deserving dogs a safe, comfortable, loving home for the rest of their days.
Beagles and Friends Forever Rescue and Sanctuary was born from a desire to help abandoned senior beagles and their friends. We chose the property location specifically for its "sanctuary" qualities so we would have plenty of space and a nice buffer for the neighbors. We wanted the beagles to have plenty of room to hunt squirrels and aroooo to their hearts content! We are located in Georgetown, Florida on 19 squirrel filled acres. We are a 501c3 Not for profit organization. EIN 82-4058654

My little nemesis. Shy.
Kinda came to terms...he will always bark at me. More than likely he will always try to bite me if he gets a clear shot.
Still adore this little complicated dog.
What happens when the Daddy man comes home on a 49° morning. Bedlam.
Our sweet Maggie Moo went to the Rainbow Bridge today.
Maggie came to us in June 2016 where we estimated she was already 8 to 10 yrs old.
She was a spunky little girl that loved to hunt and explore until her eyesight failed.
She would spend her entire day out hunting and sniffing around the yard with the big dogs. We like to think she lived her best beagle life here doing what she loved most!
We will miss you Maggie Moo. Rest well sweet girl!

30 flavors of thankful!
We are grateful year around but, the season makes us realize even more how thankful we are.
We are very thankful for all of you that help and support us throughout the year! Without you...we wouldn't be able to give all of these sweet old (and young) dogs a loving, safe home. Most of the dogs here would likely not be around without a safe place to go.
So from all of us THANK YOU! You are appreciated!!
Enjoy some pictures of the happy hounds today!
Happy Howlidays!! We are not having a Big Elfin' Auction this year...however we do have a new fundraising page
Currently every thing on the page is handmade by me (Debra) in my spare (ha,ha) time!
We may add other items for fundraising but currently it's all handmade.
So stop by "LIKE" the page and do some shopping. Payments can be made as a donation directly to BFF!

It's Wish List Wednesday!
Please visit our Amazon wishlist if you're in a shopping kind of mood ;)
Ladybug! Our official unofficial non certified therapy dog.
She was smuggled into the human's room this morning to brighten up a grey rainy day.
She may not have the bonafides of a trained support dog but she is a natural delight and guaranteed to bring a smile.
Harry..
I'm glad you folks are feeling better. I'll hold down the fort here and keep the bed warm. Yall just carry on 🤣😴
Hey Daddyman....why are our dogs getting so fat? LOL
And now for a very special Sunday performance of The Show Must Go On!!!
Update : Fatboy got the COVID on Thursday and is knocked nine ways sideways.
Getting better but what an ordeal.
Deb says good thing men don't get periods cause they would never make it.
We are waiting to see if Deb gets sick
Please no please no please no.
Running a rescue on a good day is tough enough.
It is cool that even the helliest of the hounds can tell we are sick and actually being sweet.
Harry won't leave my side.
Quirky dogs.
Earl was scheduled for surgery today to remove a lump on his leg that had opened up.
The lump has cleared up so much that Doc changed his mind and gave Earl a reprieve.
So we went to Crescent Lake to celebrate.
Finally! Today was Hobbe's big day! He was neutered, got a nice pawdicure and some more meds to get rid of the rest of the ye**ty skin infection.
He was such a good boy! 84 lbs of sweet, big moose!
Theo loves his Winnie The Pooh 😍
It's been a busy week for the hounds! Vet visits for Maya, Earl and Norman and more next week.
By the way, getting 50-80 # dogs out and in the car is quite the adventure! Especially if they don't want to go!
Pre dinner sneak attack on the squirrels.
New health and fitness manager inspecting the Aldi haul.
Lil' Bit really gets into her work.
Everyone enjoying the Fall weather.
Fun day Sunday.
The calm before dinner time.
I don't usually believe in inter-dimensional p**p monsters but it would explain the big freakin' p**p prints on the floor of a kitchen full of tiny dogs.
Alright, very funny you guys...no more Bigfoot documentaries for you.
I'm not catching malaria for nothing...
My phone HATES mornings and makes all pictures fuzzy.
So why fight it.
Saturday art house photos!
Thank you to our wish list angels for the much needed supplies!!

Theo is 14 yrs old ...possibly not our oldest dog but in the top 3.
He is also one of the most playful!
Such a cute funny boy!
We are having a bit of cooler weather and I think the dogs are enjoying it!!
Front to back..
Hobbes, Spotty, Ladybug, Doc, and Ginger on the left
What is going on at the Ranch on a Saturday?
It's Wishlist Wednesday
Now showing in 3D...
Attack of the GingerSnap! Hide your babies...and nail clippers!!
Rain, rain and more rain! That's our weather the last couple days.
We prefer rain to drought but moderation would be great ;)
Oh well...
It's nice sleeping weather so good night from some of the sleepy heads
Today was fuzzy boy Hobbe's check up.
Everyone was amazed at how different he looks from when the saw him the first time!
Next step...neutering!
Sunny Florida is also one of the lightning capitals of the US. Luckily only a few of our current crew are bothered and it's mostly the little dogs. Spotty is afraid and initially he would run around frantically, even running outside. I assume he was trying to find the safest place to be due to being out in storms his whole life.
Now, since his crate is his safe place anyway, he goes into his crate and I cover him with a blanket. He will just curl up and go to sleep
I don't know why Little Bit does this but it sure is cute! There are more than enough beds for everyone but, she always climbs up in the toy box and just sits there. 😍 Such a character!!
I also included a couple pictures of when she first arrived just over a year ago. Thankfully she is doing great for her age which is estimated to be 17!!
