It was an honor to welcome 40 service members as new U.S. citizens during an Independence Day naturalization ceremony. We’re grateful for their invaluable service & dedication as members of our nation’s Armed Forces.
Immigrants are truly integral to the fabric of our nation.
I’m proud to reintroduce the Strengthening Citizenship Services for Veterans Act.
This legislation would ensure that deported veterans can complete their naturalization process at any U.S. port of entry, embassy, or consulate.
We must continue to support those who were willing to sacrifice in uniform.

There’s more work to do and we won’t let up.
It was an honor to meet and speak with the Paralyzed Veterans of America Cal-Diego Chapter. I’m committed to continuing to work to make sure all veterans can access the benefits they have earned.
I'm glad to have secured $500,000 in federal funds to upgrade infrastructure at San Diego College of Continuing Education's historic Educational Cultural Complex! As the school continues to grow, having modern facilities is more important than ever.
Happy Father’s Day, California!
Out of all the titles I’ve had, Dad is the best one.

I am proud to have secured $882,000 to replace signs and PA systems at 12 Blue Line Trolley stations.
People rely on the Blue Line to stay connected. But right now, some of its signs are nearly 10 years old and don’t display necessary information. The new signs and PA systems will give passengers real-time updates on train arrivals and departures, safety alerts, and information on connecting services. This will go a long way towards improving both the passenger experience and safety.
