Met with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul North Texas: CEO Luis Gonzalez; Pharmacy Board President Sean Myers; and Director of Pharmacy Carlos Irula.
We discussed their work to help uninsured Texans obtain life-saving medications and explored ways to ensure individuals don't have to choose between paying for their medications or paying their rent or groceries.
Good news, Dallas County! The Commissioners Court unanimously approved extended early voting hours.

Prop U will tie the hands of our city officials and can, in one fell swoop, blow a colossal hole in the city's budget, crippling essential services. Cities need the flexibility to meet community needs.
