FIRST COURSE It’s been a year since we launched our first comprehensive tabletop collection. Our Dune and Zuma pieces have found their way onto tables around the world, each setting telling a unique story. This collection was born from my love of hosting and desire to create unique and elevated dining experiences. The diverse array of detailing and modularity have allowed for endless creative possibilities, bringing a piece of our design ethos into homes and hotels alike. With the global success of these collections, we are adding new elements to the existing series as well as expanding our tabletop collections. I’m endlessly grateful to my team and our partners at Serax for bringing this dream to life. Here’s to a year of beautiful tablescapes, and to many more to come! XK

LET THERE BE LIGHT Grateful to for featuring our new ‘Lotura’ lighting collection. This series introduces sensual, sculptural forms inspired by the timeless modernity of brutalism. We’ve embraced the challenge of bringing brutalist ideals to life through lighting, celebrating materiality and the interplay of weight and illumination. It’s a testament to our belief that functional objects can indeed be works of art. Thank you, Wallpaper* and , for the opportunity to share this collection. IN THE LOOP Stone has been constant in my career, the N**o works challenged us to push its boundaries. Though my studio has worked with stone extensively, this project presented a challenge to transform it and give the illusion of soft forms, capturing the essence of an ancient craft in stone. Inspired by the ancient practice of weaving, I wanted the collection to honor the rich history of the craft, all the way down to the basics of its construction. Each piece is a mash-up of technology and handcraft, blending 3D rendering and robotic carving with the skilled touch of Italian artisans. N**o is an expression of interconnectedness, a gesture of what binds us together. XK
STAND OUT Highlight pieces at Ulla Johnson include Ingo Maurer’s iconic 1970s Uchiwa light and Jameson Winship’s hand-sculpted plywood table. XK

ON THE ROCKS For this private residence lounge, the dark green high-gloss paint by Farrow & Ball sets a moody backdrop. A vintage Ilum Wikkelso loveseat adds character, facing a bespoke stone coffee table by Sung Jang - a perfect contrast of old and new. Erin Trefry’s artwork complements the rich palette, while commissioned wall art by Amanda Martinez adds texture and depth. A custom rug by Christopher Farr grounds the space. XK
MOOD SHIFT My studio and I have been designing textiles for many years. They are an essential layer in our studio’s designs, adding depth and richness to every space. As my design evolves, I love exploring new applications for these timeless patterns and weaves, especially in my own home where I’m constantly experimenting. For my Malibu home, I wanted a mood shift, so I found this amazing Mario Bellini Pianura Sofa and looked at hundreds of textiles from our collection to pick from to reupholster it. Creating a fresh synergy that breathes new life into familiar spaces... It’s amazing the impact new textiles can make in a room. Explore my textiles collection at kellywearstler.com XK

CHECKING IN A heartfelt thank you to for hosting us in Paris during the Olympics —it was unforgettable. Staying in this quintessentially Parisian 4th-floor corner apartment, with all the landmarks in sight, including the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre and the Olympic Flame.
What I love about staying at an Airbnb is experiencing a home that’s been thoughtfully opened up for others to enjoy. From discovering new music and books to admiring the unique design choices, every detail here has inspired me. Traveling the world and staying in an Airbnb keeps me evolving as a designer because the experiences are so true to the location.
Airbnb also hosted us at a few Olympic events, including track and field and an exciting soccer match. Watching the marathon from the terrace below and listening to my one of my son’s play the piano here are moments I’ll cherish forever.
Huge thanks to for this incredible experience. XK

DREAM SEQUENCE This afternoon I visited the Giacometti Institute in Paris. The building, originally designed by Paul Follot, is a stunning example of the transition between Art Nouveau and Art Deco. I was truly inspired by how the historical architecture enhances the experience of viewing the iconic works of Giacometti. Such an inspiring blend of artistic and architectural appreciation. I highly recommend this on your next trip to the City of Lights! XK

THE NEW CLASSIC One of my go-to glassware collections has expanded into stemware... such a unique and classic presentation for my guests. Excited to share Zuma Stemware, the newest addition to our Zuma collection with Serax. For these pieces, we drew inspiration from the natural ombré of the horizon, where the amber gradient creates an ethereal contrast to the bold geometry of each piece. The glasses also incorporate centuries-old techniques, blending ancient artistry with modern form. Now available on kellywearstler.com and serax.com. XK
