Church Service in La Permuta last weekend! La Permuta is a mountain community of faithful people. At times it is extremely difficult to travel there, except on foot. It's a few miles from the Mother Church in San Luis Anach. Praise God that the rain stopped, and the rivers subsided so the worship team and other leaders could travel there and deliver the service.

Please be in prayer for the upcoming Religare (Emmaus Walk - June 14-16) for the Women. The walk is based on Deuteronomy 32:11 - As the Eagle flies - Como es vuelo de el Aguila.
Como el águila que excita su nidada,
Revolotea sobre sus pollos,
Extiende sus alas, los toma,
Los lleva sobre sus plumas,
Like an eagle that stirs up its nest,

Many years ago, Steve Micham built a mini ilapia farm in his garage and then back yard to learn about how he could take the idea to Honduras. He spent a season raising and learning. He approached Pastor Fidel to discuss his findings and that led Pastor Fidel to build and maintain a tilapia farm. Today the pond is full and after Sunday Church, the children can fish with a hook and catch up to four fish to provide food for their family. Thanks to the Lord for this renewable food source.

Several happenings in Choluteca.
The members of the El Naranjo church have travelled about a mile and a half to the Las Pilas community who is asking for a church there. The have an old house that was donated to get started. For the most part they have to travel by foot over very rocky terrain to get there.
The first picture was the planning meeting of all of the leaders from El Naranjo.
Spreading the gospel even in the most desolate areas is a commitment made by the church.

Celebrating Bible Day in Choluteca!
On Bible Day, all of our churches get together in a city and bring signs with Bible verses on them, the kids dress up as angels and Bible characters, and they march in the streets with their Bible in hand. Some pastors set up loud speakers on pick up trucks and preach while they march. After the parade, they all come together in an open space to have a service.
