I love sewing projects and babywearing so I decided to combine the two! I specialize in hand making covers for slings. Currently the product line includes two types of sling covers: an Autumn/Winter Collection and a Waterproof Collection. The Autumn/Winter Collection has a sweater fleece outside with a bubble fleece lining. It is ideal for the colder months. The Waterproof Collection has a rip sto
p outside with a knit interlock lining in the hood. It is ideal for the wet months as it offers more shelter from the elements while not being too heavy. These sling covers can be worn on buckle carriers or tie carriers, as long as there are 2 strips to attach it to. Usage allows for front and back carries. They can also double as carseat coverings. Washing instructions for Autumn/Winter Collection is machine wash cold and line dry. The fleece tends to be a bit matted after a wash but will comb itself out after the first use. The Waterproof Collection should be wiped clean. If it does need to be washed then do a machine wash and line dry or lay flat. DO NOT use a drier as it could affect the performance of the material.
