Great morning of football at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground as our u12 & u14S played Aston Villa. It was a fantastic experience to play a top English Academy who came out on top in both games. Massive thank you to Aston Villa for hosting us.
Good luck to all our teams playing this weekend. Especially the u12 and u14S who are travelling to Birmingham tomorrow to play Aston Villa Academy. Safe flight and we hope you enjoy the experience!

Another SBYL cup final this morning in the U11 girls section where we faced St Malachys at Clandeboye Park.
The game started with a few nerves as both sides created little in the first half. Our girls came out in the second half and took control of the game with a well worked opener. Soon after they added a second goal to secure the win! Thanks to our opponents for a good game.
Congratulations to our players on their cup win ππΌπ

Our u9 team took on Ballynahinch Olympic u10 in the SBYL cup final this morning at the Danny Blanchflower Stadium. We knew from previous league encounters it would be a great game and it didn't disappoint. Our girls gave it their all but unfortunately lost 2-1. Congratulations to Ballynahinch on their league and cup wins. We've thoroughly enjoyed our first season in the league.
Later in the day, the girls lifted their spirits in the MMD airpitch tournament at Greenisland FC where the girls had great fun trying something new and came out overall winners.
Well done girls!

β½οΈπ΅U10 SBYL Cup Final β½οΈπ΅
Today our u10 girls played a very strong Cliftonville boys team in the final of the boys SBYL Division 4 Cup at a blustery Welders 3G.
The girls struggled to adapt to the difficult weather conditions and went 1 nil down after 5 mins. The girls did have chances when a long rang effort struck the bar. The girls went into to break 1 nil down.
In the second half the girls were played against the wind and Cliftonville took advantage and got a 2nd goal. With 10mins to go the girls struck the woodwork again with a free kick just outside the box.
In the final minutes of the match Cliftonville killed the game scoring a 3rd goal.
Final score 3-0
Unfortunately the result didnβt go our way today but all the girls should be very proud of themselves playing boys at this high level. We are all very proud of you reaching the final.
Well done to Cliftonville on their win.
Well done to all our Players of the Month for March! β½οΈπ΅
