Augustine’s Girls Higher Secondary School is owned and managed by Pavanathma province of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel, the first indeginous congregation founded by Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara. He firmly believed that education is the only means for liberation of the people and he gave special concentration for the upliftment of women. Following the footprints of our founder and considering the need of the locality an English middle school was established on May 1928.
