TLC Valley Essentials

Hand-crafted soaps made in Hampton, New Brunswick Canada, using only quality ingredients. Natural colourants & essential oils only - mainly organic.

Who doesn't like to pamper themselves occasionally? Like most people, I do - but after looking up the ingredients in some of the brands I was using, I was horrified. So many carried warnings and were considered carcinogenic. That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands and make some of my products myself. Having experimented with friends and relatives, it was obvious I was on to a good

This is not how I like to start a new year, but unfortunately I am having to increase prices. I'm loathe to do this, as I am passionate about being able to offer quality products at a reasonable price, but the reality is that I do not have a large profit margin anyway and the cost of the ingredients I use has gone up - in several cases they have more than doubled. This means that most prices will go up by 50 cents, and others by $1. Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to seeing everyone again soon!

It's starting to take shape! The market will be Fridays 4 - 9 and Saturdays 12 - 9 for the next 4 weeks, with rain days on Sundays. This weekend (the first weekend), the weather won't be good this Saturday, so it will be this Sunday instead. See you there!

Hi Everyone, my apologies for the silence. I’m afraid I won’t be at any markets for the next few weeks, as I am in the UK. I came over to visit my mother as she was very sick, and she passed away after I arrived, so I will be here for her funeral. I will be back home around the 9th September.

10/08/2023

Hi everyone - I'm afraid I won't be at the market for the next 2 weeks or so, as I need to travel to the UK for a family emergency.

I'm really looking forward to the market this evening, from 5 - 8 in Hampton, NBTown Square! Hope to see you all there! What a great night to be out and about in our beautiful little town. Apart from the market, there is live music GridIron AND Ole Foggy Distillery, PLUS food trucks both at Ole Foggy (Stoked - Artisan Pizza) AND Hampton Brewing Co. Ltd.. (Ciao Bella) and, of course you can get your Beer Daddy BBQ too. That is all on top of the food you can get at the market!

Hi Everyone! Sorry I've been so quiet lately - an awful lot has happened during the last few months, but I'm just about on track again :)

So, I have some good news and some bad news:

The bad news: The Lupine Market in Hampton is no longer 🥹 This was one of my favourite markets as it was all-natural and sustainable, however...
.. the good news is that the Town of Hampton are holding markets in the town square in Hampton on Fridays from 5 - 8, and I will be there, along with several other amazing vendors!

The weather is amazing today, so it should be fun! I very much look forward to seeing everyone there!

July 8th from 11-3 we’ll be having our 2nd anniversary party with live music, a game for kids with a few prizes to be won, a bbque and more. Hampton Scotia bank will be there to match donations. All proceeds going to the Hampton Food Basket
Come on out to celebrate and donate to a great cause.

OK, I maybe shouldn't blow my own trumpet - but I am so darned proud of this!!! This will be my 3rd course (I have already done Kinetics and Calculations and am working on Essential oils for Healthy Skin and am doing the course about constituents). Tisserand is the global expert on science and fact-based essential oil information. Passed with A+, 100%

Tonight from 4 - 9 I will be at the Outdoor European Style Christmas Market, tomorrow and Sunday from 10 - 4 I will be at Kredl's Corner Market AND straight afterwards on Sunday at Belding Farm again for the European Style Christmas Market until 8, which had to be cancelled for tomorrow, 3rd December due to the wind and rain we'll be getting. I'm looking forward to seeing you!

Good evening everyone!
We regretfully have decided not to open our Christmas market for tomorrow evening Nov 25th, due to the weather forecast of heavy rain all evening.
We want our guests and vendors to have a wonderful evening and experience here at the market, and we don't feel this will happen in heavy rains, also we don't want our vendors products to get ruined that they have worked so hard to create for you!

We are happy to exchange your tickets to another day, or time. Bare with as as we figure all this out.

If you have any questions please message our page.

Our Story

Who doesn't like to pamper themselves occasionally? Like most people, I do. I started making soap in 2012, after taking a closer look at the ingredients of the brand I was using. I did not like what I saw and wanted to see if I could make it myself, using ingredients I would be happy for my family to use. After extensive research, I made my first batch and was thrilled with the result – it was smooth, creamy, lathered beautifully and did not leave my skin feeling dry.

Since then, I have spent (and continue to do so) countless hours researching, developing and improving my recipes to come up a bar that, as a family, we all love to use. Having experimented with friends and relatives, it was obvious I was on to a good thing, hence the birth of TLC Valley Essentials. Our initials being T, L & C, our surname starting with V, and living so close to such a beautiful valley, coming up with a name was a no-brainer.

The oils I use are nearly all organic. For ethical reasons, I do not use Palm Oil. For personal preference, I do not use lard or tallow.

I do not use Fragrance Oils, which are synthetic. Being asthmatic, some scents aggravate my lungs, so I use quality, mainly organic, Essential Oils, which I do not react to.
