Attended Cosmetology school in South Florida and moved back to New York to and studied at The Americ THE BAT COMB was created in September of 2013.
Nicknamed "Batman" for his enthusiasm for anything and anything related to the DC comics superhero Batman. As a young adult, still in his late teens, Batman began working in the salon and fashion industry as a receptionist in Boca Raton Fl at Al Stephens salon, and was soon promoted to Salon Manager. He also worked as salon manager at Studio 10 Salon, and as receptionist at Salon Cielo, and Donna
Pascoe Salon. Quickly falling in love with the beauty industry he put himself through cosmetology school at The Cosmetology Institute of Florida in Boca Raton, FL. He then moved home to NYC and began employment at The Academy NYC; A Paul Mitchell Partner school in Staten Island NY, where he took on 3 management roles as Front Desk Leader, Branding Leader, and Take Home Team Leader working upwards of eighty hours per week. As Front Desk Leader he acted as an assistant to the school owner, was in charge of running the clinic floor where students would practice on clients, booking client appointments, checking in and out guests, monitor student attendance, and answer phones. As Branding Leader would stay in constant contact with Paul Mitchell Corporate and participate in online webinars to make sure the school was current with all up to date branding, merchandising and advertising specials and visuals. As Take Home Team leader would teach classes on product knowledge, client retention, and salon management tools and skills. Afterwards attended school at The American Barber Institute in NYC furthering his skills in men's grooming care and technique.
