Diabolical Quirk Rock in Central Illinois... Los Diablos Blancos is an all original "quirk rock" band from Central Illinois.
These songsters serve up a wild ride of drama metal, punk-a-billy, garage pop, psychedelic country, cheese funk, blistering grindcore,... and pretty much anything else that tickles their pickles. "Vivos Los Diablos" is a re-release of some of the band's best songs featuring material from the self-recorded demo "El Basemento" (2004) and "7 for the Devil" (2005 - Chocolate Lady Land Studios) as well
as one new song "Be With Me Always" recorded at Scott Quality Studios. After a 7 year hiatus, the muchachos are once more throwing their sombrero into the ring. The band formed in 2004 when bassist Lawrence Keach teamed up with drummer Chris Riley (The Neptunes). Long time friends & creative conspirators, Aaron Kline and Jason Eaton joined in on guitars. Together the group hammered out an eclectic set which rotated lead vocals amongst the 3 songwriters of the group. They played gigs & open mics in Peoria & Bloomington before sliding into oblivion. But then hell froze over... the band has been conjuring up some new music and felt it only right to set the scene for their return by making these original Diablo songs available to your tender eardrums. With an unfinished album hot in the mix, and new material being crafted...."Vivos" is a celebrated return. The band re-releases some of their most inspired tunes. Thanks to all our fans & friends who encouraged us to keep going. We hope you enjoy these diddies... "¡Olé!"
