Ilang araw na lang bago ang halalan para sa susunod na Konseho ng Mag-aaral ng Kolehiyo ng Arte at Literatura. Matapos ang ilang linggo ng pangangampanya, kilalanin pa lalo ang mga lider-estudyante na tumugon sa hamon ng panahon para sa tunay at militanteng representasyon ng sangka-estudyantehan.

Inihahandog ng KALASAG, UP Diliman College of Arts and Letters Student Council at UP Diliman College of Arts and Letters FST Council ang CAL SC Elections Miting de Avance 2024.

Dumalo upang masiyasat ang mga plano at posisyon ng mga kandidato sa iba't ibang isyu sa loob at labas ng pamantasan. Gaganapin ang programa sa ika-29 ng Mayo ng 5:30 N.H. sa CAL Atrium.

In response to the appeal from the University Student Council (USC) and the survey conducted across various colleges, the University Student Electoral Board (USEB) has decided to adjust the election calendar and move the election day to a later date.

This adjustment aims to provide students with ample time to fulfill their academic and conduct eligibility requirements.

Please note that this USC Election Calendar is final, as the election must conclude before the start of the finals week and the end of the second semester.

: Adjusted Calendar for the 2024 University Student Council Elections

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (OVCAA), through the Office of International Linkages Diliman (OIL Diliman), is now accepting applications for the 2nd Semester AY 2024-2025 UPD LIPAD-ARAL: International Student Exchange Program. Please disseminate these opportunities to your students who may want to be considered for this program.



UP Diliman students who meet the following qualifications are eligible to apply:

1. Undergraduate students who are currently enrolled;

2. sophomore or junior standing with cumulative GWA of 1.75 or better;

3. must be enrolled in UPD for at least one remaining semester upon return from the student exchange program;

4. must be at least 18 years old by December 2024;

5. willing to learn a new language, if needed;

6. not a previous participant of semester-long exchange programs; and

7. willing to engage in return service activities for UP Diliman upon return from the exchange program (e.g. assistance to inbound exchange students, assistance in international campus events, reporting on student exchange experience, etc.).



List of required documents:

1. Fully endorsed PDF Application Form

2. 1-page Curriculum Vitae

3. Latest True Copy of Grades or Official Transcript of Records

4. GWA/CWA Certification

5. Certificate of Remaining Units

6. 2 accomplished recommendation forms from UP Professors whose classes the student was previously enrolled in (at least one from applicant’s home academic unit faculty member)

7. Essay, in Filipino or in English, on why the student wants to become an exchange student (500-700 words)

8. Form 5 for the 2nd Semester AY 2023-2024

9. Photocopy of student's valid passport bio-page (must have at least 6 months validity by the end of the program); or

For students with no passport, a passport application appointment will be accepted provided that the appointment date is before September 2024.

Pre-qualified applicants will be interviewed by members of the International Student Mobility Evaluation Committee in late May 2024. Short-listed applicants will be lined up for programs that we have already confirmed with partner universities and for upcoming programs for the 2nd Semester AY 2024-2025.



Successful applicants will receive a tuition waiver for the entire exchange program duration in their host university. Students have the option to apply for additional financial support through the UP OIL Mobility for Vigor and Excellence (MOVE UP)

Program.

After careful consideration, the USEB has decided to grant the request to extend the deadline of filing of CoCs. The new deadline for filing is now set for 𝟬𝟯 𝗠𝗮𝘆 (𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆), 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝟮𝗡𝗡.

We kindly request all political parties and prospective candidates to ensure that they submit complete requirements to the USEB on the said deadline. This includes all necessary documents (i.e. academic and conduct eligibility) and information required for candidacy.

Please take note that despite the extension of filing, 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗱.
