Many Christians are “blessed” with much. TRUE blessing from The Lord brings you closer to Him His people (Church). Not every “blessing” is from God though Men may call it so.
To all of the Elijah’s out there- keep in mind there IS still a Remnant who have not bowed the knee to Baal. You are NOT alone!
The Organizational Church - waste of time? Isn't the Man on the Cross a great example that nothing else is needed?
As a beginning, YES! Jesus referred to that moment as the second birth, already born of Mom(flesh) into creation, now, born by the Holy Spirit into God's Kingdom. "BORN" not grown. An observation of God's creation reveals that birth situations involve the expectation of Growth. Animals, fish, even most plants reflect the Creator's idea - offspring ultimately become the image of the parent(adult). Yet, some, based on the spirit of what is written above - suggest we throw out everything beyond birth. Is this the only expectation? I've never met a parent with that attitude and Father God doesn't share it either- evidence? His example in creation. Consider: Having been born, what happens tomorrow or the next day? Would YOU continue on milk? - adding no substantive value in creation? Is it ALL about YOU? Perhaps we should GROW. And thru maturity, BE PLEASING to our Father?
BTW- Man on Cross had no expectation of tomorrow. His ONLY option of pleasing the Father was to believe in that moment.
