an art therapist at the Juvenile Evaluation Center in Black Mountain, NC. While there, I was commissioned to paint a tranquil waterfall scene on one of the conference room walls. This experience has continued to include many other styles and designs which can be seen in the galleries of this website. My art is not limited to murals however. As you can see from the other images in the galleries, Drawn by Darren specializes in all aspects of illustration and design. This includes but is not limited to cartoons, t-shirt designs, corporate logos, sports team reproduction, and pet portraits. All work is hand done and unique. I am proficient in most media including acrylic, pen and ink, colored pencil and graphite. My focus is on complete customer satisfaction. I work with each client extensively to capture just what they are looking for and create a one of a kind piece of art. This is achieved through a combination of one-on-one meetings, research, and numerous sketches. My goal is to give each client a lasting image that they can enjoy for many years.
