We were very intentional with naming our daughter. Tonight I finally let everybody in on why our baby girl will have a hyphenated first name and how I even came up with the name Brooklyn-Dior. 🥰

Out of no where recently, we’ve been noticing little baby frogs on our front door when we leave out at night.
So, I looked up the spiritual meaning of frogs & frogs on doors. 🥰

If you’re struggling with your mental health today, I wanted to pass on a reminder that I recieved this morning.

Take each day, one day at a time!

Also, unplug from your digitals and social media.
Everyday make sure to do something that feeds your mind, feeds your body, and feels your soul.

Feed your mind with reading a book, writing (journaling), listen to a motivational speech, learn a new skill, etc.

Feed your body with healthier foods that feed your mental and body like some leafy greens w/a salad, juice, or your favorite meal. Also go for a walk. Sometimes your body just needs to move 🤷🏾‍♀️.

Feed your soul with something that you’ve always wanted to do or that makes you feel good at a soul level. Sometimes just simply sitting in silence is all your soul needs to connect you back to yourself.

One thing I’ve learned thus far in life is that you can’t let folks tell you “how things are going to be”.

Not how marriage is going to be, not how running a business is going to be, not how interactions w/certain people are going to be, etc. Life is what YOU make of‼️‼️

Everytime someone has given me a heads up about something or someone, the opposite happens and I usually have an amazing experience instead.

This is your confirmation to just live life without any expectations! Be aware and cautious when needed but just do it! 💕💕💕

Adulthood has taught me that simplicity equals peace of mind/a peaceful life.

I use to laugh at my mom for having a flip phone and refusing to conform to getting the latest touchscreen phone.

Now as an adult……I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND‼️‼️‼️

I can definitely see myself going back to a flip phone in about 5-10 years. 🤷🏾‍♀️
