So saddened to hear the news that my first chef I worked for 15 years ago who taught me so much and was a pivotal role in my career as a young chef starting off has sadly passed. Richard was a real joy and inspiration to the Norfolk culinary scene and teaching at his cookery school.
He will be truly missed by everyone from ex chefs like myself to all of the customers he cooked for throughout his career.
Our condolences from everyone at CRE to all of his family.

We are so excited to announce the return of our Supper Club! On Tuesday 15th November Connor will be serving up a tasting menu with all of Autumn’s finest local produce at one of our favourite places Makers House! The team at will be looking after all things drinks, with the evening beginning upstairs in their other bar, Hawthorn, where you can enjoy a delicious pre dinner cocktail. With Christmas just around the corner we’ve been busy planning the return of our home dining menu for this NYE. Freshly prepared and delivered to your door with easy cooking instructions, we offer free delivery within 5 miles of NR2, a £3 charge for beyond.
The menu is £25 per person, and can be ordered for any number of guests.

We’re quite absent from social media! where does the time go? but wanted to share a little snippet of the dining set up we had for our favourite event to date… our wedding day in September!
We went for canapés, pre starter, starter, main, pre dessert and dessert. (my favourite was the pre dessert - coconut & passionfruit egg😋) all things drinks we went for Prosecco, Nyetimber, Vino Verdhe, Côtes du Rhône, Provence Rosè, coffee alfresco at sunset and then onto our full bar service in the evening. 🥃 🍻
We named the tables after all of our favourite places in the world, and chose to have a sweetheart table for just the two of us, to sit back and take it all in. ❤️

We are looking for friendly event staff to join our team this summer! (Into early Autumn)
- Front of house experience preferable but not essential
- Most venues are remote so own transport is essential, fuel contribution included in pay
- Shifts on a casual basis
