यूँ तो मैं एक स्वस्थ आदमी हूँ, परंतु पिछले कुछ दिनों से सोशल मीडिया पर दंगाई जीवाणुओं से लड़ते-लड़ते मेरी इम्युनिटी थोड़ी कमजोर पड़ गई थी। मैं उबर ही रहा था कि चारों तरफ कोरोना-कोरोना का डिंडिम घोष शुरू हो गया । सब इसके बारे में ही बात कर रहे थे। इसके लक्षण साँस फूलना, खाँसी- बुख़ार आदि बता रहे थे। पहले तो दूर की चीज मानकर मैंने इसे हँसी में उड़ा दिया। परंतु एक जुझारू गूगलजीवी होने के नाते सुबह से शाम तक व्हाट्सैपिया और फ़ेसबुकिया रिसर्च करता रहा। शुरू में मैं ठीक था। फेसबुक पर गया। देखा, कल तलक जो सुश्रुत अंकित शर्मा के शव पर बैठकर घाव गिन रहे थे, आज चरक बन चुके थे। काट देंगे मार देंगे लिखने वालों को "सावधान रहें सतर्क रहें" लिखता देख मुझे खाँसी आने लगी। यूट्यूब के ज्ञान से तापमान बढ़ ही रहा था, न्यूज़ चैनल देखने के बाद मुझे उल्टियाँ होना शुरू हो गईं। बहुत भय का माहौल था। न्यूज चैनल वालों को इतना बेबस मैंने कभी नहीं देखा था। वे किसी भी तरह से कोरोना की समस्या को पाकिस्तान या अल्पसंख्यकों से नहीं जोड़ पा रहे थे। यूँ तो वे डर रोज फैलाते थे परंतु आज मुझे खतरा वास्तविक लगने लगा था। उनके पास कहने को कुछ नहीं था। बस कोरोना पर अश्लील गाने बनाने वाले गायकों की निंदा कर रहे थे। मेरे हिसाब से मीडिया को ऐसा नहीं करना चाहिए, कल को उसे उन्हें नेताजी या मंत्रीजी भी कहना पड़ सकता है। [ 399 more words ]
