Hello, My name is Farmer Eli. I am the historic farm program manager here at Historic Brattonsville. I help manage all the heritage breed livestock and heirloom crops. On any given day you will find me plowing the fields with horses, mending fences, fixing things in our 19th century woodworking barn, and looking over cows, chickens, sheep, hogs, and horses.
I grew up on a fourth generation family farm in Eastern North Carolina. Farming runs through my veins. On that farm we grew grain as well as raised cows and pigs.
