Saginaw Social is a new local company comprised of four main parts. Within this realm we also can provide team building workshops.
Saginaw Social is an event and promoting group that puts on social and charitable events in the Saginaw area, as well as being a central location to see what things are going on around town in our community! First, we are an event company that comes up with new and innovative forms of entertainment and creative concepts to give people in our community free or low cost things to do around town. We
are currently working on several projects including singles mixers, a 56 passenger bus to a Tiger's game, a themed dance/beer tent and wine tasting tours. Next, we are also a company that puts on fundraising events of our own for local non-profits and other organizations. We recently did a roller skating party for Toys for Tots. We also have other events in the works for the C.A.N. Council, MDA and several others. Third, we are a consulting company. We will help your group, team or organization with organizing, planning and promoting fundraisers in exchange for considering Saginaw Social as a sponsor and displaying our banner at your event with our local sponsors on it. Finally, we would like to develop this site into a centrally located place where people can come to see what special events are taking place in our community. Our team is comprised of a wide variety of education, background and experience:
Alison Taylor, company president, is a graduate of Heritage High School. She has worked for the MDA and Community Blood Program. She has put on workshops on diversity, MDA Lock-Ups, golf scrambles and helped with several other local events. She graduated from SVSU with a degree in Spanish/psychology and an Associate's in Liberal Arts from Delta College. She is in charge of developing new concepts, consulting, marketing and promoting. Bobby Rindhage, VP, is the co-owner of Bomb Tees. He graduated from Arthur Hill and then he did his undergrad at SVSU and is currently working there on his Master's of Arts Communication and Digital Media . He is responsible for graphic design, creating new concepts, promoting and much more. Brian Connelly, the other owner of Bomb Tees, is our internet specialist. He is in charge of internet promoting and consults on new events as well. He is also a graduate of Arthur Hill and has a business degree from Baker College. Bree Powell is our newest team member. Also part of the SVSU Alumni, she has her degree in professional and technical writing with a business minor. She is in charge of helping with the development of new or existing ideas and promoting. She is working on getting certified as an event planner as well.
