After a stringent audit of our food safety, cleanliness, procedures and standards, we have been approved.
This is a higher standard than the 5-Star food hygiene rating that we’ve held for many years.
This is why our Biryanis and Rice items are healthier than cooking and eating straightaway.

We can’t do any “offers” either as our prices are fair and our meals are great value.
It was a dilemma, whether to price-up a bit (and offer “discounts”) or just offer the best price to everyone, all the time. We chose the latter.

Chef Akila’s Story:
I am a 73-year-old Indian grandmother living in Yorkshire. I was born in a South Indian village in 1945. My father practised ancient Ayurvedic medicine and believed that food is medicine. He taught us the benefits of spices, herbs and real, wholesome Indian food.
I worked with doctors, nutritionists and other experts for 4 years to make each of my recipe as healthy as possible – while still tasting delicious.
