GOOD morning world! Someone said, “To really live — to know, enjoy, and follow Jesus — we need to learn and keep a pace that is human.”

We all know that our world has sped up in a frenetic pace.
“French philosopher Gilles Lipovetsky calls the “hypermodern” world.6”
We are engaged in constant fast-forward motion whereby we are often overscheduled, stressed and rushing towards the next task.
This rushing is not restricted to our work environment. We rush our food, our sleep, our family time and even our recreation.

“There is nothing else. Hurry is the great enemy of spiritual life in our day. You must ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life.”
—Dallas Willard

JOIN US TODAY at DNK | TGPM online livestreaming and on site Sunday Service. We are delightful to share the topic: INFATIGABLE FAITH.

One major casualty of speed is the table, a relationship, a return to the elemental fundamentals: a table, a meal, a conversation, a conversion”
“The table is a place of intimacy, and those who feast at Jesus’ table become family together in a new kind of relationship —one that obliterates dissension, walls, bloodlines, and divisions.”

God’s dream for humanity, the Bible says, “is so far beyond what you can even ask or think.” As someone said reflecting on the meaning of hope, defined it as “hope for something that is not seen, and that one would not dare imagine.”43 God imagines for us what we can’t imagine for ourselves. It might be called “the madness of the impossible.”
Ephesians3:20

Hello woRLD! There is a rise in the pressures, anxieties, stress, worries of human life. About 40 million American adults have an anxiety disorder each year. Rates are rising among young people and the use of anti-anxiety drugs is soaring. Anxiety is considered when the worry is excessive or disproportionate to the underlying threat, involves the expectation of future threat, and it is often considered as a disease when associated with personal distress, abnormal behavior, impaired concentration, or avoidance.
What can be done to reverse this mental health crisis?

There is a story about a young fellow who walks into a sports bar around 9:58 PM. He sits down next to this old guy and looks so worried at the bar and stares up at the TV. The 10:00 news was on. The news crew was covering a story of a man on a ledge of a large building preparing to jump.

The young guy turns to the anxious old guy and says, "You know, I bet he'll jump."

The old guy replied, "Well, I bet he won't."

The anxious old guy placed $20 dollars on the bar and said, "You're on!"

Just as the old fellow placed his money on the bar, the guy did a swan dive off of the building, falling to his death. The worried manwas very upset and handed her $20 dollars to the young man and said, "All is fair. Here is your money."

The young man replies, "Sir, I can't take your money, I saw this earlier on the 5 o'clock PM news and knew he would jump."

The worried man replies, "I DID TOO, BUT I didn't think he'd do it again"

“Worry is not rooted in reality, but does affect our reality.”

GOOD MORNING WORLd! In an article entitled, “Meet the Gen Zers maxing out their retirement savings: ‘It’s no longer chasing money; it’s chasing time’ by Jennifer Liu, she mentioned Ms Lillian Zhang, 23, works as a product marketing manager at a tech company in the Bay area. Lillian Zhang wasn’t even out of college before she started planning for retirement. Zhang was 20 years old when she opened her first retirement account, a Roth IRA, after learning about them from personal finance Youtube channels. She maxed it out for two years using money from her savings and summer internships, and when she got a job after college, switched her focus to maxing out her 401(k). And she’s part of a growing class of Gen Z retirement super-savers.
She believes that, “There’s this idea that the government isn’t looking out for your retirement, so you have to do it yourself.”

Today’s young professionals are prioritizing their golden years like never before: The average Gen Zer starting saving for retirement at age 22, compared with millennials who started at 27, Gen Xers who started at 31, and baby boomers who started at 37. That’s according to a January survey of 4,500 U.S. adults from Northwestern Mutual.

We often attempt to organize our lives according to a predetermined timeline, such as completing college by a certain age, getting married by another, and buying a house before starting a family etc. It’s NOT wrong, but let us be reminded that there are times that life will bring us into a longer way in the journey called life. There is a story in the Book of Exodus that the Hebrew people took a longer route of 40 years but the travel takes only a week. Someone said that when Moses took the Israelites out of Egypt, he could have made it to Canaan in a little more than a week, even though he was shepherding over two million men, women and children. Of course, we know that was not the route taken.
Instead, he took them on a route that began a 40-year journey and involved the need for God to perform yet another miracle: the parting of the Red Sea.
