Emily Monus lives in Jersey City, NJ with her partner Melissa and their four cats. After a 3 year run with vegetarianism, she finally made the connection and went full vegan in July of 2011, and considers it the best thing she's ever done. She started JerseyCityVegan.com in the spring of 2012, with hopes to inspire others to embrace the vegan lifestyle and live a kind, compassionate life. In her spare time she can be found volunteering at the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary.
