This Saturday, October 29th, there is a doorbelling event taking place in Oak Harbor for Sen. Patty Murray and Rep. Rick Larsen. Any members that would like to attend are welcome to join the event.

Following the building rep meeting on Tuesday, we will have our first OHEA social of the year.
Our first event will be a Halloween themed trivia night at Wicked Teuton Brewing Company.

WEA 4th Corner GOTV Election Events! RSVP 29/09/2022

This morning we received more information about door belling for pro-education candidates. The event will begin at 10am and both campaigns are providing food, doorbell training, and doorbell lists. Once that all has occurred, doorbell buddies and/or groups will leave to doorbell!

Everyone that wants to support Pro-Education Candiates are invited. Feel free to bring family and friends that support public education!

The logistics for the 15th are as follows:

The first OHEA Rep Council meeting will be held Tuesday, September 27th at the Oak Harbor High School library from 4:00-5:30 pm.

Educators spoke up for K-12 COLAs that help us keep pace with inflation and the legislature listened, increasing their proposal to the 5.5% we requested. Coupled with an increase in funding for student mental health supports, this budget makes a much-needed and sustained investment in our students and our schools.
