Hoping this routine sticks! Morning shake, daily detox cleanse and my daughter washing dishes!! (Ok she’s mostly playing, but she says she’s helping and it’s the thought that counts)

What’s your favorite whole food, plant based, vegan or vegetarian cookbook? I need to get out of the mentality that having a meat protein on my plate makes an easy meal, and need more recipe ideas. But I also get intimidated by long lists of ingredients, cookbooks with few/no pictures, and meals that take longer than 45 minutes to make. I don’t have any of these but I have them on my wish list! I follow plenty of blogs but LOVE to flip through books with pics for inspiration. What are your absolute go-to staples on your shelf?

I need recommendations for a not quite newbie but definitely not a pro. I went vegan for over a year until I got pregnant with my first and started to crave meat. I’d like to be embrace the more plant friendly diet again because I felt my absolute best and my skin and mind were so clear. My current cookbook favorites are Isa Does It, Vegan Asian, and a couple Skinnytaste books because they offer simple, delicious, and fairly quick recipes. But I’d like to expand!

I was SO excited when I got back from vacation and ‘s new recipe book was waiting for me in the mail! I’ve been following her account for a while now and drooling over her IG pics. The Charlie Chan Pasta is the first dish I tried and it does not disappoint!! Definitely check out her book/ebook and blog!

I’ve been trying out this hair rinse for a couple months now and I like it a lot. And honestly, for different reasons than what it’s officially advertised for. I’ve suffered embarrassingly from seborrheic dermatitis since I was a kid and not much helps. I’ve definitely noticed a difference after using this hair rinse though. My scalp has been feeling more “calm” and less itchy. It doesn’t make it go away (there is no cure for this) and I still have to use my special shampoo but anything that helps with my SD is a keeper in my book. Curious if anyone else has used this with similar results?
