The workshops on day 3 of Ahmedabad Design Week were an amalgamation of interactive, experiential, thoughtful and fun-loving.

Ahmedabad Design Week had an absolute honour to host Ms. Priyanka Sharma, Gujarat Bureau Chief, Republic TV as esteemed Speaker & Panel host at “Design for Gods - The Ayodhya Story” panel.

As someone who had spent days and nights on feet at the Ayodhya Grounds covering every nook and corner through the hustle, she brought forward some deep insights of the story and projected anecdotes that were not just inspiring but sparking the youth to know that developments in Ayodhya in terms of a design scape goes beyond the story of devotion.

Ahmedabad Design Week had an absolute honour to host Ms. Ruchita Bansal, Consultant, Ayodhya Development Authority as esteemed Guest Speaker at the “Design for Gods-The Ayodhya Story” panel.

Sharing some exclusive insights into her journey as urban planner she said that the vision map in process will put Ayodhya on Global Tourism platform as she firmly believes that the story of Lord Ram goes beyond just the Ram Mandir. She envisions to build several interactive projects in Ayodhya that trace the cityscape in terms of technological advancements in design fused with traditional values. And to top this all she left the audience awestruck and spellbound with her real life anecdotes.

Ahmedabad Design Week had an absolute honour to host Mr. Manish Tripathi ( ) , Costume Designer to Shri Ram Lalla Idol of the Ayodhya Mandir as esteemed Guest Speaker at “Design for Gods - The Ayodhya Story” panel.

The pearls of wisdom shared by Sir included his extensive journey of creative process from ideation to ex*****on of Shri Ram Lalla’s Vastra. Sharing his story he spoke about how each element from motif to pitambari was thought with utmost precision and how throughout his voyage he felt that Lord Ram himself was showering blessings converting a design journey into a pure devotion.

With gratitude in our hearts, we thank Mr. Manish Tripathi for sharing those behind the scenes and insightful stories with our aspiring bunch of designers and giving them a direction to dream beyond ordinary. 🙏✨

Post that sir has worked at Tata Motors, TVS Motors, TATA Elxsi and is currently working as Vice President Design- Styling at Ashok Leyland.

He has a creative inclination for designing Cars, Trucks, Buses and three wheelers✨ 🚚

In this workshop you will work in small groups investigating a topic of your own choosing, such as the future of food, housing, travel, work, recreation, agriculture, etc. You will then create your own forecast and scenario uncovering opportunities within your area for further exploration.

Ellis Bartholomeus, veteran game designer from Amsterdam, Netherlands graduated from the Design Academy, Eindhoven, in 1996 as a product designer and has done her Master’s in Education in Arts from Piet Zwart Institute Rotterdam.

Ellis has co-developed more than 50 games and playful interactive products on a wide spectrum of topics .After years of developing games, Ellis wrote Apply Play, a book on the art of play. She conducts workshops across the globe on the power of play.
