After a long day of work yesterday {that I loved} and a baby with teeth coming in {grateful for the snuggles!} I need a little extra pick me up today. I'm constantly trying to cleanse our house and lives. Found this in one of the cleanse groups, and I think it's a great way to break down the big project of de-cluttering the house. Does anyone else have great ways to simplify the house?? Always looking for more ideas 🤔

Peppermint is a great mood up-lifter (we mix it every morning with Wild Orange in our diffuser for a nice pick-me-up.) Peppermint is also the key ingredient in our favorite Peppermint brownies. And those of you fellow-Floridians should all be using it as a cool-down spray (mixed with water) this time of year!
As for the PastTense... I think this magical little bottle was the reason we could finally cut out ibuprofen in our house. Think of tension relief of the head, neck, and shoulders. You put it on and you can almost instantly feel that tension releasing. So good!!!

These are 2 oils in our house that get a lot of use! Here are some of our favorite uses:

MELALEUCA (tea tee)
- to help with skin irritations on Kaia or myself
-it's part of my homemade Linen spray
-great for seasonal threats
-promotes healthy immune function

PURIFY
-beautiful blend that is my favorite "clean" smell
-diffuse it while cleaning
-added to dryer balls to help the laundry smell so good
-diffuse for odor and air cleansing properties
-drop on my deodorant

So a few weeks ago I began researching organic mattresses. If you'd like to see the 3 brands I've narrowed it down to along with a tremendously helpful thread of comments - head over to my personal Facebook profile and see my most recent post.

One of the things I came to find out through my research, is that a standard coil mattress will double its weight in 10 yrs because of all the trapped dead skin, dust mites and other body particles that settle in the springs. Oh. My. Word.

So what do is essential oilers do but flip open our fave book, The Essential Life, and find our armour. Today's awesome recipe comes from pg. 300 of the 1st edition:

Create a sprinkle jar of 1 cup baking soda + 5 drops Melaleuca (tea tree oil) and sprinkle on the bare mattress. Open you windows and leave for 2 hrs before vacuuming it up. This is enough for a twin size mattress.

Studies have shown that pure melaleuca oil (only use because store bought won't work) immobilized 100% of dust mites after 30 min and killed them all after 2 hrs 💪🏻

I meet people every day that think that these bottles of oil I've been talking about for almost 4 years are just pretty smells. Honestly I wish these ppl could follow me around for just 1 day to see the 30 different ways I use them in our home, with my kids, in every situation there is often an essential oil approach.

It sure is hard to imagine what happened at these castles, and how different the world is today. I hope we get Kai back to these ruins when she's old enough to remember, but young enough to imagine things that we can't even dream of.

These 2 are going to seriously miss each other when daddy has to go back to work....
