Almost a week ago already. What a day we had ☠️🏴‍☠️

Hotwired - Blood Soaked Monsters' Social Disease, The Pirates Party, The Steamboat, Ipswich 29/6/24

So as the dust settles at The Steamboat Tavern from the Saturday invasion, we can reflect on what a great day it was. We were playing in London yesterday to a very subdued audience compared to Saturday, so we haven’t had a chance to do a proper post with some pics until today.

Loads of you turned out & we appreciate that! The weather was on our side & garden drinking a plenty was done. The Pub staff were fantastic on both the bar & in the kitchen. All the bands - The Psychic Pimps, S𝐀V𝐈N𝐆 𝐏E𝐀C𝐇, Hotwired and Thy Last Drop played fantastic sets, with great sound courtesy of Captain Ian Crow. We raised over £300 for We Care wildlife rescue, which is amazing, so thanks to those who donated prizes & bought raffle tickets, hope you won some treasure. A tip o’ the Tricorn to Andy Scoulding for manning the door all day! We really enjoyed our day m”hearties - cheers .

We have a bit of breather now for July, but we’re back at The Steamboat on 11th October with Attilla the Stockbroker’s Barnstormer 1649 and then again at Xmas. Watch out for more gig in the meantime.

Well what a night! Great bands, great crowd and your collective generosity raised over £300 for We Care Local Wildlife rescue and we didn’t seem to ruin it too much at the end when we played. You lot are bloody marvellous! We’re in London today playing at Signature Brew Haggerston with The Captain's Beard and Ravenhymn, some of us feeling more tender than others. We’ll post more with pictures and thank yous once we’re back on dry land. ☠️🏴‍☠️

Thanks Solskin - A Pagan & Heathen Festival!! That was such a warm welcome. What a brilliant festival and it was their first year too. If you missed it you missed out! Hope they do it again next year.

Saturday 29th The Steamboat Tavern Gig - So we are going to have to wait until after Tuesday's England game until we finalise the running order in case we have to have a break for a little England v Germany match !!!! We played with them in Chelmsford at a gig with naff all crowd. We watched them and liked their catchy P***y Pop Rock sound and they were decent enough to stay around to watch us play too, we said we would get them down to Ippo and being true to our word - we have, so welcome aboard to the trio that is Saving Peach! ☠🏴

Who's looking forward to June 29th at The Steamboat Tavern then? We'll be playing songs from the albums, a couple not on the albums and maybe a cover if we've learnt it, and probably spoil an otherwise excellent day! "So what else will you give us you scoundrels?" we hear you ask?

Well, first off you'll be getting a faceful of the The Psychic Pimps ! Seasoned veterans of the suffolk Punk scene, with members having served in, among others, Rue de la Mort, The Sustained, Suspect Device and the drummer was a Disco Zombie! Head Pimpernel John was a founding member of East Town Pirates up until our third album was released, we still play some of the excellent songs that Johnny bought to ETP.

It's great to have them opening the day, where they will be pumping out Death or Glory Rock 'n' Roll tunes from their forthcoming debut album.

Nice n Sleazy Festival was a blast 💥 ☠️

Well, another joyous weekend was had aboard the good ship ETP 🏴‍☠️. Glastonwick was fantastic, always such a great diverse mix of people & performers. We played on the Friday night to a lovely welcoming crowd who were up for a good time, so cheers m’hearties. Great Beer 🍺 great vibe, great setting, great weather - there, lots of greatness. Thanks Mel Gordine-Tyler for coming to join us on stage as our preacher for the track “Betrayal", you fitted the role scarily well 😆. Cheers to John Baine (Attilla) for getting us down again, Alex Hall the beer guru (nice to see a few beers from Ipswich / Suffolk with St Judes, Bartrams (Elvedon) & Stow Fen representing). Finally, thanks to all the staff who are so hard working & friendly. To emphasise what a wonderful festival this is, where else would you clear your head with The Shoreham Chamber Choir followed by The Daffodildoes??? Glastonwick you were smashing, we salute you m’hearties!

Next up June 29th at The Steamboat, our first home town Ippo show for a while.
