Glass earns first ASUN Conference Golfer of the Week honors - Austin Peay State University Athletics After shooting a career-best two-over 218 and leading the Austin Peay women's golf team to its first team win of the season, Maggie Glass was named the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Thursday.

There is a change in the schedule for tomorrow. We were originally supposed to play at Sharon but now we will be traveling to Milan to play Milan and Madison Academic.

This year we will have a hole sign at our tournament for all former MHS Golfers that would like to donate to our program! Here is how it works:

Alumni golfers can donate anywhere from $10 to a $100 to get their name on the sign.

If you donate, please put the year(s) you played!

To allow time to get the sign made, we ask, if you are going to donate, to do this before June 9th.

Closing this year’s golf season was today’s Region 7 Tournament. After a VERY windy day spent at The Farms Golf Club in Dyersburg, our 5 players left the course with well-wishes for this year’s champions. The Lady Golden Tornadoes of Union City took home the girls’ victory and the Hornets of South Gibson claimed the boys’ championship title. We wish the best of luck to these two teams as they represent their schools in next week’s state championship in Sevierville! 🏌🏻‍♀️⛳️🏌🏻

Today’s District 13 tournament began with comfortable morning temperatures that heated up quickly by the time the players had completed their first nine holes.

A total of 48 players (37 boys, 11 girls) representing 11 schools participated in today’s tournament. The boys had 6 teams and 7 individual players. The girls had 2 teams and 5 individual players. Team scores consisted of the best 4 boys’ scores and 2 girls’ scores.

Congratulations to our Lady Rebels on advancing to next week’s region tournament with their 2nd place team finish! Charli Weatherford also claimed the overall 2nd place girls’ individual score with her round of 90.

Westview claimed the boys’ district title. However, we had two of our Rebels qualify as individuals to advance next week as well! Congratulations to Nolan Renfro and Caleb Burke on their individual advancements! Nolan carded an 88 and Caleb a 99!

Tomorrow morning, our golfers will be playing in the TSSAA Division I Class A District Tournament at Persimmon Hills Golf Course in Sharon. Representing our Lady Rebels will be Payton Ognibene, Anna Weatherford, and Charli Weatherford. Our Rebels will be represented by Nolan Renfro, Carter Kee, Xander Johnsey, Caleb Burke, and Hudson Wallace. Wish them good luck!
