This week Manac Trailers USA in Oran, MO honored Veterans at the school Assembly. After the ceremony, the management team took our Veterans for lunch. Thank you to Manac’ Veterans. We remember! 🌹

Manac Trailers USA in Oran, MO 🇱🇷 held the 2nd Annual Family Picnic on October 21st with a great turnout☀️. Many activities for all ages: cute kangaroo cuddles even our General Manager Wayne Allen Brewster couldn’t resist, ringtail lemur to pet, pony rides, balloon animals 🎈, face painting🤩, pumpkin decorating🎃 and bouncy houses to burn off energy. A competitive co****le contest along with awesome attendance prizes to win. Our Head of HR Janelle Glosemeyer took one for her team at the whipped cream pie throwing Fundraisers and collected the most cash for the local Christmas for kids Program. Our flying moose mascot spent the day entertaining all along with delicious food 🥤🍧🍰for everyone. A great event to engage with one another, have fun🎉 and socialize. A big shout out📣to the M&M Club and everyone involved in the organization to make it a perfect day at Manac Trailers USA.🤩

Dan and Lucas Melcher took delivery of their brand new fully galvanized Manac log trailer. A 3rd-generation family-owned logging business, Melcher Bros has seen a lot of changes over the years in the forestry industry of Maine and New England. Just a couple of the technological advances that Manac offers include options such as a fully hot dipped galvanized trailer and disc brakes. The advances in corrosion resistance and braking power offered by Manac will help Dan and Lucas ensure that “together we go further”.

The 15th International Aluminum Conference (INALCO) is in full swing at Centre des Congrès in Quebec City, QC. Our Vice-President of Engineering and Innovation, Rodrick Levesque delivered a presentation coauthored with Christian Boily and Félix Rancourt titled ”Ecodesign and the life cycle of a refrigerated van.”

Congratulations to Rodrick and his fantastic team for sharing their research and for contributing to the development of the aluminum industry.

This system saves time and protects the load with the added benefit of being safer than installing a tarp manually.

Our colleagues from Peerless Limited in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada had their annual Family Fishing Derby the last weekend of July. 🎣 The event was held at the Headwaters Family Camp, the perfect place with awesome Okanagan scenery to enjoy the summer weather, play fishing games and go camping. ⛺ There was a price for the largest catch, draws and a scavenger hunt for the kids. 🐟
