16/1’s v Kurri @ Cook Park Singleton (finished 4th in a must win game)

17/1’s v West @ Keith Barry Oval (finished 2nd)

Well that’s a wrap for our historical Barton Oval facility yesterday Saturday 24th August, Saturday seen the last of our junior teams prepare for battle and sing the Lakes victory song or debriefed after a loss for the very last time after many decades of service to our juniors & seniors.

Not to mention celebrating many grand final victories and losses with festivities of mad Monday’s and days after with told & untold stories will forever hold this facility in greatness!

We are excited to see the construction of new fields and amenity buildings coming along to be ready for our return in the new year as we welcome the new influx of our local affiliate
U16’s players and returning female and male players in 2025.

Thank you to our 13WT, 15WT and 16/1’s for creating what will be priceless photos in future decades as people look back on the history of our great junior club and its history.

Round 9 Catch Up Games & final season proper games before finals..

All the best to our 15WT team who at the start of the year were looking at playing hybrid, they stuck by the club and more importantly the coach and themselves, recruited and developed a team of 17-18 players.

They played with a "never give up" attitude each week, all at Lakes United are super proud of you all and thank you for your efforts this season, good luck this weekend.

Further info for all, our executive committee will be working hard to ensure home games go ahead should the playing surface be safe and we also comply with the council’s expectations.

We appreciate your understanding as we navigate the challenges of late. Please rest assured all possible scenarios are being considered.

As shared yesterday, there is a plan slated to progress with the season as our roadmap ahead. Below outlines the impact of each round outstanding.
