[email protected] Asylium was formed in 2003 by Joel Axelsson and Fredrik Lundell, and an early demo was recorded.

In the beginning och 2004 Mikaela Åkesson was recruited on bass, and at the end of that same year Andreas Runfors also joined the band. During the years up until now several rhythmguitarists have come and gone and now Asylium only consists of the four original members.
