Seed Bead Bliss
Seed beads fuel my creative energy. My jewelry is all lovingly hand-stitched, one bead at a time, in Lakeville, CT. You can never have enough beads!
Please contact me for prices and availability for the jewelry shown here. I've been working on and off in the jewelry industry for the last twenty years-- in Athens, Greece, Boston and New York. First I trained as a bench jeweler, then worked as a designer for both fine and costume jewelry manufacturers. Subsequently I went back to school to study decorative arts history. I concentrated on silver
I try to do a bit every day…. Today’s stitching is fruit and veg restock 🥕 🍋 🍉 🫛😍

Aurora Earrings hot off the work table 🔥💙💚
Another classic Leslie design in my favorite color of Swarovski Crystal, Bermuda blue. I think I designed these about 12-13 years ago, and have never stopped making them as they continue to be customer favorites 😊 even so every pair is unique!

A custom pair of earrings for a very dear-to-me bride—her wedding colors are white, navy and silver 🤍💙🩶 and she asked for graduated dangles for her “casual” outdoor wedding end of this month 😍
I don’t do much custom work, but I really like how these came out! What do you think? I can’t wait to see her wearing them on her big day 😊😊
Making new triple leaf earrings and a custom length bracelet—making edging this direction in pe**te stitch requires extra effort and a bit of planning, but the result is really nice 🤩 would you wear these?
I’d like to make this design in a few colors but not sure I’ll have time before Guilford—but it’s out there! **testitch
Ellipse earrings restock (again) 😉 longtime customer favorites in two sizes are a classic Leslie design ☺️
Tanzanite, denim blue, silver shade, crystal dorado shown here—but I have also made them in other colors. Let me know if you need a pair too—chic and go with everything 😍
My next show is a big one in Guilford CT next month so have much restocking of earrings and some bracelets to do, along with a couple of special customer requests.
Whew! So long Rhinebeck and thanks all who came out to support handmade craft💓 Great weather (mostly), lovely neighbors and sweet customers/visitors make for a nice weekend 😀
But my guys here make everything possible—there would be no shows without them! My DH Theo is on duty all weekend when I’m at a show, and he is my biggest encourager and supporter. David always gives me a huge grin when I come home, and I am extra hilarious to him for a few days afterwards 💓😅
That’s why I’m always alone when you see me at shows, and I have to be able to set up, break down and load everything by myself. So 3 cheers for Theo 🎉 💓💓 I am so grateful for him 🙏🏻
Celestial Teardrop Earrings are a long-time customer favorite! Their intricacy is a beadweaving challenge for sure 😊
I used to make them in a bunch of colors, until that little oval bead in the middle was discontinued by Swarovski years ago 😱
Since then I have been working my way through my stash of limited colors, and I was almost out completely!
Internet to the rescue 😃 I was able to locate some of these beads online, and in a couple of extra colors 👍 like this Montana blue 💙 so the Celestial Teardrop will continue to live on for now 💓🤩
I’ll have these in Rhinebeck this weekend!
Last day for a little restocking! Two sizes of denim blue ellipse earrings in progress—Prepping for Rhinebeck this weekend!
Come out and see me at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds Saturday and Sunday ☺️🤩

Was asked for a pair of cherry 🍒 earrings, and I forgot how tedious making the beaded cherry is!! Not sure if I will make more of them, but I also tried the design with a colored pearl. What do you think??

Getting ready to go over and set up!! Excited for this weekend at
This necklace has been languishing unfinished on my work table for a few months! Finally I was ready to resolve it 😅 sometimes that’s how the creative process works but I like how it’s turned out! What do you think???
Earrings and bracelet were new for last season and pretty popular—I wanted to make a necklace to go along with them 😁💚🤎
Well hello there folks! It’s me, Leslie, showing off the Nordic Mix Sweater I just finished. I’m picky about my knitting projects, but when I saw this design I knew I had to go for it ☺️
Have we met? I haven’t posted an introduction for a long time. I’m a beader, beading designer, special needs mom and enthusiastic knitter. I started working with seed beads in the late 90s when working as a jewelry designer. I had to leave my career to take care of my darling son, and a few years later I started my business, in 2009.
I pour a lot of energy and emotion into my creative work—it’s a sort of discipline I’ve developed over many years. It gives me something fun to think about when I’m feeling anxiety, grief or sadness. I enjoy creative problem-solving and can turn over a design idea in my mind for weeks before executing.
Hope you are enjoying your Thursday!
