Sad day for us . First met Barry Gravener and his family at lang lang rodeo in 1956 . Then in 57 when he left home he joined my father's wild west show learnt yo ride in the rope ring . Barry was a great competitor and great board member and even more so a great person. REAR IN PEACE OLD MATE

📣UPDATE- POSTPONED UNTIL TOMORROW

Unfortunately due to this morning’s down pour, the arena has now been deemed not safe for use today.

Therefore the decision has been made to POSTPONE the Rodeo for TODAY and instead run it in full TOMORROW 27/12/2023.

We hope you understand that it is number one priority to keep our competitors and all livestock safe.

It may have to be held as a dry event due to the uncertainty in obtaining a liquor license at this late stage (though we are really trying!!!)
Food trucks are still a go!

Following the same programme, kick off is at 3:30pm😃

We can’t wait to see you there in better weather conditions and supporting our annual 68th Myrtleford Golden Spurs Rodeo 🤠☀️
