Chapter 1: ‘Seedpod Quiz’🌱
Hi Daylily family. 💃🕺

Now is the seed time. So, please pay attention to your plants and see if you have any seedpods.

1. Some pods will stay green and have cracks, if you can see the black seeds inside means it is ready.
2. When pods are brown, then it the perfect time to collect the seeds. Then the germination rates are usually higher.
3. When you collect the seeds, if you have enough space left next to the mother plant is good. We usually plant the seeds about 2” (two inch) deep next to it.
4. If no space left next to the mother plant, no worries. Plant them in a seed tray. Once they germinate, replant them when they are 6” - 8” (six- eight inch) tall in the garden.
5. Now please look over each picture and just answer 3 questions (Y / N)
