Did you know you're only considered 'Active' at 12,000 steps a day ... say WHAT?!

That's right!

At 3000-12,000 you fall into the 'actively sedentary' category.

And what's scary is that people in this 'active couch potato' category have SIMILAR health outcomes to actual couch potatoes.

I know this is true - cos that was my reality 10 years ago.

I worked a sedentary job, had sedentary hobbies, and needed to chill at night watching TV after a hectic day.

I thought I was 'active' because I crammed my movement into 60-90 min workouts a few times a week, plus I taught some yoga classes.

I was 'in shape' by fitness standards.

But I struggled with hip, back, neck, and foot pain.

I needed regular massages to make it through the week.

I wasted TONS of time and money on physical therapy, chiropractor, and acupuncture treatments.

And I was being told that this miserable reality was a 'normal part of aging'.

Well, if that was how I felt at 44 I shuddered to think what things would be like at 64, or even 74 😱😱😱

But 54, I'm happy to say that I no longer dread aging

And that I'm, in fact, aging AUDACIOUSLY 😝

I'm aging strong, supple, agile, and ACHE-FREE.

Do I hit 12,000 steps every day?

No!

But the steps I do regularly hit are QUALITY steps because I can now do a proper butt-driven gait that's pain-relieving AND body toning.

Unpopular POV: Using sole inserts won’t fix your foot problems 😲
There, I said it.

I know you’ve all been told that expensive sole inserts are the secret to fixing your foot pain (and knee, hip, and back pain too!)

But here’s the problem with sole inserts
They’re FORCING your body into a specific alignment.
And y’all know how I feel about trying to force your body into any position!

Everything we need to correct our own foot pain already exists within our own body.

When we engage the right muscles and get our fascia on board with our plan — foot issues can become a distant memory.

Remember: Our body is intelligently designed, and we didn’t evolve in “supportive shoes and inserts.”
