When the world shut down in 2020, Leah here randomly started taking your trainer's virtual POUND classes๐ฉ๐ฝโ๐ป, and since then, we've been skating together, mermaids together, enjoyed all of the beers together๐ป, and so much more. I don't know if I would have met her without POUND, but I'm also not sure I'd still be teaching POUND if I'd never met her๐.

Today, weโre celebrating all the wonderful dogs who have brought joy and love into our lives. For us, this day is especially meaningful as we remember our beloved Canon, who crossed the rainbow bridge last November, just three days after his 18th birthday. ๐
Canon wasnโt just a dog; he was our mascot, our loyal companion, and a familiar face at our fitness events. If you ever attended one of our classes, you probably met him, wagging his tail and spreading his unique brand of love and energy. ๐ถโค๏ธ
We first noticed some health changes around November 2022. Despite his age, we knew something wasnโt right. After some persistence, we discovered he had a tumor on his pituitary gland. It was a tough journey, but weโre grateful for every moment we had with him.
Today, in honor of Canon and all the incredible dogs out there, we invite you to share a favorite memory or picture of Canon if you have one. Letโs celebrate the love, loyalty, and countless memories our furry friends give us. ๐พ

My constant mission is to motivate others to find their best self in every aspect of life and fitness is no exception. I have always focused on encouraging others to engage in a healthy lifestyle. As a youth Iโd invite family members to walk me to the bus stop to get in a little physical activity because weโd all be so focused on fellowship that weโd forget that we were walking miles! Thatโs my favorite thing about the workouts that Iโm certified to teach, Pound and STRONG. Instead of counting reps or keeping track of the clock, both strategically distract you from the high-intensity and duration of your workout, and shifts your focus to rhythm and volume. I love hearing the laughter and seeing the excitement that I feel on the inside on the faces of my Posse.
I also offer a Bootcamp through Texas Fit Chicks and donโt think that I leave the music behind because music makes you train harder!
