Greetings Family, Friends, and Supporters:

Today, we take time to commemorate the achievements and legacy of the more than 16,000 Original Tuskegee Airmen. The desire to have the history-making Airmen, and their families, share their amazing stories is increasing. The need for us all to spread the history and lessons of this phenomenal group of people and understand the fight and drive they display in their legacy, needs to remain available for the future generations.

As the chapters in the Commonwealth of Virginia celebrate our 5th Annual celebration of this day, Tuskegee Airmen, Incorporated (TAI) is starting a movement to engage other states across America to proclaim Tuskegee Airman Commemoration Day on the Fourth Thursday in March in perpetuity. Celebrating and sharing the message of the Tuskegee Airmen, today, starts the process to have a governmentally recognized National Tuskegee Airmen Commemoration Day.

Thank you for your continued interest in the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen, and the support and growth of the Howard Baugh Chapter of TAI. Please reach out to us to join our organization or inquire about any information we could provide to help assist our youth and perpetuate the legacy of these amazing Men and Women at [email protected]
