Happy to say Darwin has found his furever home. First time foster fail. He is such a good boy and spoiled. He has been added to wall of Beagles at my home. He hopes to see everyone at the beagle bash this October. -Alex

In Memory of Teddy 2016-2024

Thank you everyone for the love and support I am still in shock but Teddy came home last Friday and joined his brothers.

Everyone I am utterly destroyed Teddy suddenly passed away 30 minutes ago I found him gone on his bed. He had been feeling under the weather since Tuesday took him to the vet today. I am utterly destroyed and in tears

It is with a heavy heart that I pass along to you all Blue has gone to the Bridge on Friday to be with his brothers Munchkin and Bailey. I only had him for 2 years and tried to give him the best life as possible. As with all my boys, I was with him right to the end. The vet who let Munchkin go to the Bridge in 2017 was the one who helped Blue. Blue and I spent the day hugging and car rides to see his favorite vet to say goodbye then to the Rescue that gave him to me. He had hamburgers and fries and lots of Peanut Butter!! When he passed he left this mortal coil with Peanut Butter on his face!! As with all my dogs, this page will remain up and open and i have lots of pics to share that i haven't in the past. Please enjoy the pics of Blue's last day with his friends. Thank you all.

Everyone Blue health has been declining rapidly with panting breathing issues and a worsening cough the meds that did help have been failing and we’ve talk to specialists and his vets. These past few days have been painful to see him even walk. I have decided this week we will let him cross over to the Bridge. We thank you all for the love you have shown us.

IT'S ALMOST TIME!! Mark your calendar for Oct 22 for the world famous BEAGLE BASH 2023!! The Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland (BRSM) will be hosting a day of food, fun, prizes and BEAGLES! (and other breeds) This is a great opportunity to meet the people who rescue beagles every day and learn about BRSM. We will also be having a Halloween Costume Contest for dogs! Calling all Movie Fans- As you know, Munchkin (and his brothers) were all movie fans including me. We are going through our massive collection of dvds and blu rays and upgrading or looking at films we never watch anymore and would like to sell them with money going straight to our Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland - Many are still shrink wrapped and in perfect condition.
