Saturday - October 15, 2022: Event Schedule + Details
🚧 2:00PM: Dedication in Mystic River Park: Bring the family as area historians, local businesses, government officials and former Bridge tenders take part in the dedication ceremony. St. Edmund's Pipes and Drums leads off and Dan Watson sings us out. Governor Ned Lamont is expected to attend.
📍 3:00PM: Chili-Fest, Bands & Beer Opens on Cottrell Street, next to Mystic River Park . Cottrell Street will be closed to traffic (beginning at 10am).
🌶 Chili-Fest: 10 local restaurants will be participating, vying for your votes as the Best Chili in Mystic. Tickets will be available for purchase to exchange at each restaurant tent for a 3-ounce tasting. Voting will be accepted electronically through the Go Mystic App which can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play.
🎸 Band Schedule: The stage will be set at the end of Cottrell Street. Eight to the Bar starts off the afternoon from 3:00-5:00 followed by Jamie's Junk Show 5:15-6:45, and Cucumber Jones 7:00-8:30.
🍻 Beer Garden: Also, on Cottrell Street next to the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce Bascule Bridge Visitor Center, will be a beer garden provided by Levine Distributing Co. Tickets will be available for purchase.
🎆 8:15PM: Fireworks over the Mystic River Presented by Foxwoods Resort Casino.
